RadioDJ Cue Field Explanation
-----------------------------
cue_duration
The total duration of the track. Currently this is identical to the "duration" field, but it exists to support future threshold-based duration calculation.
cue_start
The point where the track begins playback. Used to skip silence at the beginning of the audio file.
cue_intro
The end of the intro section. This marks where vocals or the main musical content begin. Used for talk-over timing and intro length calculations.
cue_loopin
The start point of a loop region. RadioDJ will jump back to this position when reaching cue_loopout.
cue_loopout
The end point of a loop region. When playback reaches this point, RadioDJ returns to cue_loopin to continue looping.
cue_hookin
The start of the hook segment. Hooks are short, recognizable parts of a track used for teasers, promos, and countdown mixes.
cue_hookout
The end of the hook segment. RadioDJ plays only the audio between cue_hookin and cue_hookout when a hook is requested.
cue_outro
The beginning of the outro section. This is typically where the track starts to fade out or reduce intensity, often without vocals. Used for mixing and transition planning.
cue_next
The point where RadioDJ may start the next track. This is not the end of the track; it is the optimal transition moment for seamless mixing.
cue_end
The actual end of the track. Playback stops at this position.
